While enjoying a drink at our local brewery one night, it occurred to me that I was the only one who brought a backpack for my doggy. As I shared bones and treats from Jax’s bag with passing doggies, the thought crossed my mind, “Why does no one have doggy beer?” That motivated me to investigate and create something fresh, natural, and new. Our original batch was brewed in our kitchen and taste-tested by our crew of seven pups, one of which is our fastidious mascot, Jax. We then began handing it out to everyone we knew with dogs, all of which approved.
Growing up on a farm and having a genuine love for all animals, I always wanted to establish something that had to do with pets — something unique. My husband has always had the mind and drive of an entrepreneur, and together, this idea has enabled us to create something fun and innovative.
